For Fans of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine

In our newest podcast Dan Miller and Beppe Gambetta talk about Beppe's current US tour, his latest CD, and some of his new developments in crosspicking. A Beppe Gambetta duet with Jim Hurst from Beppe's newest CD is also included. Check it out: http://flatpick.libsyn.com/

This month our e-Newsletter instructor Mickey Abraham has provided an arrangement of the Celtic tune "Maid Behind the Bar." This is one of those great old tunes that should be a part of every flatpicker's repertoire. Check it out: http://www.flatpick.com/lessons/september2009.html

The latest issue is September/October 2009. This edition is Volume 13, Number 6 of the magazine, which features the musically eclectic and diverse Curtis Jones on the cover. Additionally we feature, John Miller, a fine picker from the south western part of Virginia, and Roger Lasley a prolific flatpicking songwriter and recording artist from up in Minnesota. We also welcome a contribution from Paige Anderson along with wonderful recordings and transcriptions from our regular cast of columnists.
