Thanks Dan!
I just got home from a little gig recon trip to Wichita!
I can't hang out with all those pickers that come to town in September and not have to get out there and give it the old college try!
We'll keep a light in the window for you!

Hey man ya this is a pretty cool thing you made here. As far as suggestions. Let's see what about a one stop contest and festival directory but more specifically contests. And maybe a builder database and or a classifieds section.
Hi Dan,
Another good idea from your magazine! Is this like facebook for old guys? I am competing in the Texas Flatpick contest in a couple of weeks - wish me luck. Hope to see you at Kamp Week2.
Joe
And thank you dan for doing so much for flatpicking music for somany people. I bet you don't hear that appreciation enough. Your magaizine is really a quality product. I've learned a lot of tunes and others from it over the years.

Hey Dan! Thanks for letting me know about the this site, it is totally cool!

Hello Dan,
We are just back from Japan where we played for our troops at a festival. It was a great trip and we are looking at several other international concerts for the fall.
It has been busy this "off season" We have played from California to New York. We are pretty lucky.
I like the new site, thanks for all the work you continue to do on our behalf.
I hope you can come to Durango this summer, take care
Gary
"Hey Craig. Thanks for the kind comment. The credit for this version should really go To Steve Kaufman who's arrangement it is. Good luck with your bluegrass studies, it's wonderful music and great fun to play. I look forward to…"
"Derek: Mike above is teaching me blue grass and showed me this site. Fantastic rendition by you of this great song. Thanks for sharing. I'm off to Mike's to practice!!!!"
"I have a Guild Bluegrass D40 made in the original factory at Hoboken that has been with me since 1964
I also have a Martin D18 made sometime around 1994 and a 1977 or earlier Yamaha FG336SB"
"Thanks Mike. I have to prove to myself that I can play the material as written but once I've done that I start to allow myself some leeway to have fun and drop in my own bits. There's not too much space to do that in SK's version of…"
"Nice picking!! I learnt the self same version from Steve Kaufman but like me you put in a few extra bits. Looks like she has made you do your picking the garage teee heee"
