Pick Punch Make your own guitar picks

Hello everyone here at Flatpicking guitar! My name is Von Luhmann and I am the owner of Pick Punch. I love flatpicking and I have always loved making my own guitar picks from just about anything laying around the house. I have made some really good ones. I also buy stock materials like celluloid sheeting and make my own for practically nothing and they are EXACTLY the same as Fender Celluloids (which I think have the best quality of them all .......until I started making them anyway) . Anyway I decided to make a punch to make perfect edges for the picks. This video shows the first prototype that I made. Check out youtube.com for more of my videos. http://www.youtube.com/user/wvluhmann It worked ok but now I have a newly designed one that is coming out this year that works perfect shaped like a backwards beefed up stapler. It is just too easy to make your own and $4.00-$8.00 for a bag of picks from less than 50cents of materials? Cut out the profit and get a punch and with one sheet of celluloid you can make a thousand of perfect guitar picks that are EXACTLY like fender celluloids for all your friends or make a buck or two in the process. If you really want cheap you can use your credit cards, photo id cards, gift cards, misc materials like felt, oddball plastics, or anything around the house forever. Hey you can go buy picks from the shop and I actully will sometimes also but I have made picks here at home that I sell for a buck a piece because I make them from materials that no one else sells. As far as plastic like materials go Celluloid is the holy grail of them all. Making celluloid requires expertise, and talent. Every block of celluloid is different and they are not just printed. Honestly I have no idea how they get the intricate 3D designs in this stuff... These materials are 3-Dimensional all the way through. Thank the italians for this wonderful product. It is the most expensive of all these materials for a reason. The stuff is ART! .......check out our website as we convert from blog format to sales format and sell supplies. We will be selling products for everyone: punches, printing methods, celluloid, delrin, tumblers, etc. If graphics are important to you (which unless you are advertising they dont make a difference but) Did you know for less than $15 you can make your own repeatable, durable, graphics on your picks with hot foil with different foil colors? Our website will show you how. You can also use this to design your own picks for people before you make mass produced versions if you really to order or need a bunch of them for promotions, concerts, etc. Anyway we just want you to know there are options besides buying picks from the guitar shop.
