Nice stuff Kathy. What are you using to record? I use a Kodak Zi8 and am content with the video, but not the mike, though I am experimenting with some external ones that hook up to the camera

thanks Joe! Well I used to get all set up and go through the Firepod into the Apple using an AKG C-1000 into iMovie and all that... but that's a bunch of work, especially dealing with iMovie. So now I have an iPhone and I'm just using that. So much easier. I don't know if it sounds as good but frankly the reason you're seeing more from me lately is 1. I'm retired and 2. (more important) I'm not hassling with the technology. So there you go. Just using the recording program that comes with the iPhone.

It doesn't get much more pure than this. 1. I'm glad you're retired. and 2. I'm glad you're posting more.

"My gear is much better than my skill - for straight flatpickin', I play a Martin D-18 Authentic 1937. My go-to guitar for just about everything else (and it flatpicks just fine, thank you) is my Huss & Dalton D-RH with a Red Spruce top.…"
