Very nice. I'm interested to see what kind of a rhythm concept you come up with...

Beautiful piece (and playing - both hands are amazing)! Good that you are back from the Summer tour.

Really nice Kathy, so like Sligo I can almost hear the rain in the background.

Thanks all. BTW, I've been working on this for quite a while. At first I had the entire first 3 measures in floaties.... even though that precluded a regular DUDDUD pattern.... I thought I could emphasize the right notes anyway. But no... so I made one fairly easy change (playing a note fretted that used to be an open string) but that's really flummoxed my learning process.... it was interesting to see how important that one arrangement modification is to the feel of the thing. I'll try to get them both up there so you can see what I mean. When I get a round tuit, that is....

ps Cathal, how can you hear the rain in Sligo through the rain in Dublin?

Norman's Preferences

I saw a video in which Norman discussed why he preferred a certain fret when refretting one of his Martin's. I am about to refret my D-35 Martin, and I would like to know if anyone remembers a video in which Norman discusses his choice over the Frets Martin uses. Thank You.7See More
