Favorite Flatpicking Tunes
Primarily old fiddle tunes. After that, pretty much anything from a folk/bluegrass/old time country vein.
Larrivee guitars are my favorite. I mostly play a Larrivee D10. Obviously that is not a Larrivee in the photo. That's another Canadian guitar, by Simon & Patrick. It has a very tight-grained cedar top and is very punchy.

I like playing the old fiddle tunes that have become flatpicking guitar standards. The styles of Norman and Doc have been hugely influential. And then Steve Kaufman has helped me put it all together. Other music of interest includes The Allman Bros Band, Grateful Dead, Jethro Tull, Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span, Marshall Tucker Band, Jerry Jeff Walker. Many more.
