I recently bought a TAN16C in Springfield Missouri. I got a great deal on the guitar and it came with a hardshell case. So far nothing but sweetness out of it I can't wait or it to "open up". Nothing more inspiring then to play such a sweet sounding instrument. The cool tube with built in tuner is fantastic as well, I know there are Taylors and Breedloves Collings and Martins that sound fantastic but for the money its hard to beat a Takamine. I spent half of April in the hospital and am just recovering at home. Sorry I haven't responded to your posts but thank you all for your nice comments. I hope to get back to picking soon. I'm still trying to learn some Bluegrass tunes. My son and I are working on Sailors Hornpipe at the moment from the Brad Davis Jam series. I'm enjoying my son's interest in guitar and I am teaching him some "tricks of the trade" to speed his development. I hope to attend at least one Bluegrass Festival this year and maybe by the end of the year I can afford a new Takamime. Continue
