I spent half of April in the hospital and am just recovering at home. Sorry I haven't responded to your posts but thank you all for your nice comments. I hope to get back to picking soon. I just wanted to post about the pickup I had added to my Golden Era. The K&K pure western mini sound so natural and has a lot of output for a passive system. Ellie and the fine folks at Artisan Guitars in Franklin TN recommended this pup and installed it for me. I had a RBII in a Gibson J45 that was nice, but still had a tab bit of the under the saddle brittleness/crunch, way warmer than most, but I wanted to take it to the next level for a purer sound and I think i have it here. My daughter Freja has had a great year at ETSU. It was tough in the beginning, but she has slowly learned how things are organised at a University. The other day she found a clip of herself on Youtube. First week she arrived at the school, she had the chance to sing one song with the schools Bluegrass Band at a show in Kingsport.
