For Fans of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine

Hi Flatpickers,
I recently bought a DVD produced by Flatpicking Guitar Magazine called "Live In Kansas City-Cody Kilby, Brad Davis and Tim May. I rarely say anything like this but this DVD is a must have for every flatpicker. It's just fantastic! I watched it on an airplane with headphones and this DVD was so good I forgot where I was. I actually started clapping after one of the songs! Luckily the people sitting nearby chuckled.
I'm not kidding, it's that good! Everybody needs to buy this DVD or put it on your Christmas list.
BTW-No personal interest.
Happy Listening,
Marcy

I thank you all, and especially Marcy for the kind words about "The Live in Kansas City" DVD. We had so much fun picking together that night and the audience was exceptional as well! Tim May and Cody Kilby are two of my very favorite musicians. They keep you on your toes and push you right to the edge of what you might think your ability is. The camaraderie we three experienced that night is what music is all about. My past boss Marty Stuart of eleven years once told me, if your not having fun, GO HOME!!!!! Many of us play for fun and many of us are fortunate enough to do it for a living. Doing it for a living is some times harder on a person than one can imagine. I look forward to a future session or show with these two hot rod pickers.
You guys have a wonderful holiday and see ya down the road,
brad davis

Norman's Preferences

I saw a video in which Norman discussed why he preferred a certain fret when refretting one of his Martin's. I am about to refret my D-35 Martin, and I would like to know if anyone remembers a video in which Norman discusses his choice over the Frets Martin uses. Thank You.7See More
