I saw your comment about about the Zoom H2 Recorder. I am attending my first acoustic camp this summer and a recorder is recommended. In classroom situations do you think this would be a good choice.
Thanks for the reply Bob, I haven't found an H2n yet but I'm looking. Must be pretty new.I'd like to compare the two. These things can be a little intimidating for the digitally impaired like myself.
I am a lefty. I was cruising Jerry's Lefty Guitar site today and saw he had some Baden guitars. The D's are distinctly "odd' looking. I followed a link to the Baden guitar Myspace page and, while listening to some demo's, saw that you had friended the page. Have you had the opportunity to try one of their D's? If so, what was your impression, both to the shape and the sound? I've got a Honduran RW/Red spruce Rockbridge D I got in a swap with Garry Collier. At the time it was the only lefty they had ever made. It might still be the case, for all I know!
I wrote up the oddest biography for myself in joining this group---I kind of don't belong, being a sax player and a piano player, but your name came up while I was talking to David Yohn. Thanks again for playing--I think it was your banjo--in my sixth grade class. (I was the teacher)
Bob, I am a little clumsy with all the facebook and e-mail ways to connect. I had several things I wanted to mention---I do look forward to someday seeing you with Tim and Faith...David Yohn just bought an 88 key Roland piano from me--he got a good deal.
